Frequently asked questions

Is the tour only for our group?
Yes. You travel in your own vehicle with your own driver, and no one else joins.
Can we change the itinerary?
Yes. Every tour is a starting point: we add a night, remove a stop or swap a city with you before the trip.
Where does the tour start and end?
At the airport or your hotel in the first city of the tour, and the same at the end. If you arrive somewhere else, tell us.
What vehicle do we travel in?
A private 4x4 or minivan with air conditioning, chosen for the size of your group.
Where do we sleep?
In riads, guesthouses and hotels we choose ourselves, and in a camp on the nights in the desert. You can ask for more simple or more luxurious places.
Is there a guide?
Your driver speaks English and stays with you for the whole trip. In the medinas, a local guide takes over for the visit.
When is the best time to go?
Spring and autumn are the most comfortable. Summer is very hot in the south, and desert nights are cold in winter.
Do we need a visa?
Citizens of the European Union, the UK, the US, Canada and many other countries do not need a visa for a stay of up to 90 days. Check with the Moroccan consulate for your passport.
Which currency is used?
The Moroccan dirham. Cards work in the cities; bring cash for small shops, the desert and tips.
Can we travel with children?
Yes. Tell us their ages when you write, so the days and the rooms fit them.
